Survey: the state of the cultural/creative professional

Fill out Culture Action Europe's survey on the conditions and challenges of cultural professionals by Feb 9.

Culture Action Europe, together with Panteia, has set up a thorough and widespread survey into the working conditions and challenges faced by professionals in all cultural and creative fields.

In stark contrast with all the mobility, cooperation and internationalisation encouraged in these sectors, there's a wide range of challenges that cultural professionals are confronted with on a regular basis. Working conditions and benefits frequently disappoint, social facilities are all too often incompatible with international mobility, and income patterns can be unpredictable and whimsical. The cultural professional is often quite vulnerable in situations of breach or abuse of contract, and their professional resilience is being threatened these days by the irresponsible rise of possibilities concerning artificial intelligence (AI).

To improve the position and conditions of cultural and creative professionals, the European Parliament has now set up a framework (see below) to address these concerns. For further input, Culture Action Europe and Panteia have geared up this Europe-wide survey, looking for firsthand experiences and feedback from individual artists, cultural professionals, and employees of organisations and (government) institutions in the cultural and creative sectors (CCS).

The survey can be filled out via the links here below, until this February 9th.
