The Cultural Participation Fund launches an open call to encourage cultural collaborations between Suriname and the Netherlands. Deadline: 5 July 2024

The call supports projects where Surinamese and Dutch organizations seek each other out and learn from each other. For example by cooperating, sharing knowledge, or by carrying out an artistic or heritage project together.

Who can apply?

Cultural (art or heritage) organizations based in Suriname. The organization can apply for a subsidy for a cooperation project with one or more Dutch cultural organizations. The Surinamese applicant must be registered with the Register of Foundations, part of the Chamber of Commerce and Factories (KKF).
Cultural organizations based in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The organization may apply for a grant for a collaborative project with a Surinamese cultural organization. The Cultural Participation Fund explicitly advises these organizations to initially look at the possibilities that the International Cooperation scheme can offer.
